DAY 1: Upon Arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, you will be met by our representative who will then transfer you to Kajjansi Airfield to connect with your flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

DAY2:  Gorilla trekking in Bwindi, Buhoma sector of the Park

• Community visit for the Batwa Cultural Experience

DAY3: Transfer to Kihihi airstrip for flight to Kajjansi airfield or straight to Entebbe International Airport

• Diner and overnight at booked lodge in Entebbe or Kampala

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

• You'll arrive at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, where you'll be met by a representative and transferred to the domestic terminal for your domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

• The flight takes approximately 1.5 hours and offers spectacular views of Uganda's landscape.

• Upon arrival at the airstrip in Kihihi, you will be met by your guide who will transfer you to your luxurious lodge located in the park.

• After check-in, you can relax and enjoy the stunning views of the forest from your private balcony or take a guided nature walk around the lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

• Wake up early for a hearty breakfast before heading out for the gorilla trekking experience.

• Meet with your guide and group and attend a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers who will give you detailed instructions on how to behave during the trek and what to expect.

• The trek can take anywhere from 2-6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas and the difficulty of the terrain.

• Once you find the gorillas, you'll have one unforgettable hour to observe and photograph them.

• After the trek, return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest and lunch.

• In the afternoon, you can opt for a community walk to visit a local Batwa Pygmy community or relax at the lodge.

Day 3: Departure

• After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe International Airport.

• Your guide will be on hand to assist with any last-minute souvenir shopping before your flight.

• Arrive in Entebbe in time for your international flight back home, taking with you unforgettable memories of your gorilla trekking safari in Uganda.
